A @Polaroid #Type55 portrait of @dghter_judy. (SWIPE for the negative) She was kind enough to let me use her studio and @jolenelupo’s beautiful 4x5 camera to test this film out. It clearly outdid my expectations and looked incredible for 15 year old #film.
So... after some heavy pressure from @gram_dole and @geoffreyberliner, I finally made the plunge this weekend and got a 4x5 rails camera. Get at me for a #portrait! So hyped to shoot more.

@dghter_judy in her old studio space. Got a chance to chill with her and shoot some #Polaroids a few months ago in some nice afternoon light.

Wouldn’t have been the same #trek without some brilliant and tough friends! Luckily altitude sickness never really got the best of us but can’t say I was feeling 💯 near the top. Worst night of sleep in my life!

A couple of my good friends for the trek, yaks! There were countless people on the trail but another constant presence was the ringing of the bells around the yak and dzo (pronounced like... jzo) as a warning to move or ya might get a nudge right off the side of the mountain.

This is another @kodak #Ektachrome #35mm shot from just before reaching #EverestBaseCamp. Really wish I could’ve shot all slide film. It’s so gorgeous.

After a bit of a recovery and social media hiatus, I’m back from Nepal and my hike to Everest Base Camp! Definitely something I didn’t plan to do but with a nudge from some friends and an itch for adventure, I felt the call. So many emotions and feelings to reflect on but it was truly an incredible and exhausting experience with views I still can’t believe I saw. So much #35mm, #Polaroids and #Super8 to come!⠀ ⠀
This is a shot on the new @kodak #Ektachrome before arriving to EBC after hiking for 8 days to 17,600ft. You can see the pockets of yellow and colored tents where people are preparing the 2 month long journey to summit Everest! Insanity!
